2020 has been a horrible year. No doubt. One of the first problems that this new year welcomed in were the tragic bushfires down under in Australian; that endangered the lives of humans, koalas, and several other species native to the continent.
However, we have found the light at the end of the seemingly never-ending and dank tunnel! A wildlife park in Australia, New South Wales, welcomed in the first joey (baby koala) since the fires on the 23d of May. The keepers at the park believe that this little ball of joy, Ash, is “a sign of hope for the future of Australia's native wildlife."
Hence, reminding us that all bad things come to an end. Much like the crisis of Australia, we must remain hopeful in the wake of the pandemic. Eventually, things will be alright; better than alright– good.
